Product Development Leader(7)

About the Role:

As a leader in our organisation, you will guide development teams responsible for systemizing, designing, implementing, and testing software features for our cutting-edge Ericsson RAN Baseband. This role encompasses working with key future technologies in RAN network, such as Massive MIMO, beamforming, cmWave as well as new cloud technology. Additionally, you'll break new ground by leveraging Machine Learning and AI to enhance our efficiency as well as our products.
In this role you will report to Department Manager of Product Engineering Group 3, Department B in Lund and be part of units leadership team


Key Responsibilities:
•    Lead and manage two development teams responsible for systemizing, designing, implementing, and testing software features for Ericsson’s cutting-edge RAN Baseband products.
•    Guide teams using Lean and Agile methodologies to deliver customer value efficiently and effectively.
•    Serve as a mentor and coach, enabling team members to grow professionally and create a shared understanding of technology and project goals.
•    Drive Ericsson’s technology leadership by advocating for innovation and continuous improvement.
•    Facilitate change management, formulating strategies and concepts to enhance team and organizational performance.
•    Build trust and foster a collaborative, inclusive environment that empowers employees.
•    Collaborate closely with product managers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful feature delivery end-to-end.


Qualifications & Experience:
•    University-level technical education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•    Several years of experience as a team leader or manager within software development environments.
•    Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Lean and Agile methodologies.
•    Proven experience in change management with strategic planning capabilities.
•    Experience in real-time embedded or DSP software development is a strong advantage.
•    Familiarity with radio baseband or radio protocol development is highly beneficial.
•    Experience with cloud technologies and cloud-native deployments is a plus.
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead multicultural teams.
