As a Product Development ICE Finance analyst, you will have the opportunity to deliver on Ford’s Cost and Quality initiatives for future Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) programs. This position partners with our Product Development team (Cost Estimating, Engineering, Purchasing, Program Finance) to source parts and address changes in future model vehicles and regulatory environment. We are a part of the ICE Propulsion Thermal Systems Engineering (IPTSE) and Electrified Systems organizations and are relied upon to provide financial guidance, calculate business cases, and maintain accurate reporting for both material cost and investment on future programs. We are a trusted business partner and empowered to be the Controller for your vehicle program commodities.
**This is a hybrid role requiring at least four days per week on-site at the Advanced Electrification Center in Dearborn, MI.**
**What you'll do…**
+ Lead and support the vehicle target setting process for Powertrain (Cost Workshops).
+ Partner with the internal Business Partners (Cost Estimating, Engineering, Purchasing, Finance) to source commodities at or better than target.
+ Calculate business cases and perform scenario analysis (e.g., IRR) weighing Ford’s cost of debt vs. projected return.
+ Partner with Program Finance to accurately report latest material cost, investment, and risks & opportunities (R&Os) for pre- programs.
+ Present milestone financial status to operating team and Finance management.
**You'll have…**
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate finance, with strong analytical skills and preferably product development experience.
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economic, or a related field of study (MBA preferred).

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, including being comfortable presenting to Operating Management.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, use of AI tools / Power BI to create process efficiencies.
+ Detail oriented self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
+ Ability to prioritize assignments, multi-task in fast paced environment.
+ Strong people skills – ability to build relationships with operating partners.
