Product Development Engineer - Lubricants & Sealing Systems

**What will you do?**
+ Drive and accompany implementation of standard LSS products
+ Select and approve Sealing Systems for allocated OEM programs
+ Lead Root Cause Analysis for LSS product related field returns, shortfalls in validations or other concerns
+ Provide specific LSS expertise for and in negotiations with OEMs
+ Supply technical assessments & evaluations for local functions like quality, manufacturing engineering, purchasing and SQA
+ Lead development of Customized Sealing Systems
+ Coordinate the technical release of allocated VA/VE activities
+ Conduct training on LSM products for e.g. Application Engineering
+ Conduct benchmarking for competitor products
**What are we looking for?**
**To be successful in this position, you will have**
+ Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
+ Experience: Automotive engineering or equivalent master's degree preferred
+ Good communication & collaboration skills
+ Ability to work independently
+ Ability to manage projects
+ Self-motivated to achieve results and meet timelines
+ Ability to work well in a team in a global company with internal customers and peers
+ Ability to manage disagreements effectively
+ Good relationship building and networking skills
+ Business fluent English language; German is beneficial
+ Good knowledge on GKN processes, standards and WOW for internal candidates

GKN Automotive Poland was established in 1996. We employ 1,400 people in 2 plants in Olesnica and manage more than 70 production lines.
