We align business strategy with user needs across channels and touchpoints to shape the future experience for affluent customers across the globe. As a Product Design Lead, your mission is to define and scale best-in-class experiences for millions of customers across the globe, unlocking the full potential of the banking app and connected channels.

Influence our vision, strategy, and roadmap to help position HSBC at the forefront of customer experience designElevate design quality and practice across the team, mentoring designers, championing design thinking, and embedding a culture of excellence and accountabilityLead and inspire a global team of UX / UI designers, ensuring the highest standard of craft, clarity and creativityAbility to translate complex financial services and regulatory requirements into simple, engaging and trustworthy digital experiencesConduct research and effectively apply data and insights to inform, evaluate, and validate customer experiences that deliver real value, ensuring the voice of the customer is embedded in every decisionObsess over the details of UX, content, visual and interaction design, consistently pushing boundaries to create innovative, inclusive, and elegant experiences across all stages of the product development lifecycleRealise the benefits of consistency and scalable design practices to deliver high quality experiences for diverse customers, championing a culture of inclusivity and valuing differencesInfluence and collaborate with a diverse range of Stakeholders to build trusted relationship, leading to stronger collaboration within projects to align goals and delight our customersSome careers shine brighter than others

Proven experience designing digital products and services, with strategic responsibility and impact or connecting decisions to business and customer goals A strong portfolio showcasing world-class product design across responsive and native platforms, with clear user and business outcomesExpertise in Figma, design systems, prototyping, and core UX disciplines including research, content design, testing, visual and interaction design, and information architectureExperience in complex, regulated environments—ideally financial servicesWorking knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive designA collaborative, cross-functional mindset with the ability to build trust across geographies and in global contextsDemonstrate a capability for writing effective content in UK English as part of your product design skill set - so that language and design work together to create intuitive user experiencesConfidence mentoring others and contributing to a culture of growth and excellenceOpening up a world of opportunity
