Product Data Engineer Job Description **_Are you ready to turn complex product data into clear, actionable insights? In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our Scrum Team, using tools like Excel and SAP to support product development and architecture projects. By applying your engineering mindset, you’ll help maintain a structured overview of components, variants, and product structures—enabling smarter decisions, better traceability, and seamless collaboration across teams._** **Responsibilities** As a Product Data Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in transforming product data into structured insights that drive development and innovation. Your work will support cross-functional teams and ensure data clarity, consistency, and compliance. Moreover, you will: + Analyze existing product programs and create new component overviews based on stakeholder specifications. + Conduct data-driven analyses to support product changes and development initiatives. + Define and structure Bills of Materials (BOMs) and classification hierarchies for ERP integration (e.g., SAP). + Present complex data in a simplified, accessible format for diverse audiences. + Take ownership of detailed daily tasks, ensuring documentation and SAP data are accurate and up to date. **Your background** We’re looking for a technically skilled and analytically sharp team player who thrives in collaborative environments. You’ll bring structure, curiosity, and a proactive mindset to every challenge.
