**Product Data Administrator-Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)**
**(This is a contract position with an anticipated end date of 12/1/26)**
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Data Administrator to join our team on a 1-year contract. This role is essential to ensuring our product data is accurate, consistent, and up to date within our MAPICS / XA Powrerlink ERP system. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to support Item Configurations, maintain data integrity, and ensure timely data flow across departments.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Configure new items in MAPICS / XA Powerlink ERP SYSTEM in a timely and accurate manner.
+ Input and maintain critical item attributes, including list price, unit cost, and lead time.
+ Maintain and update existing item master records.
+ Manage product classifications, vendor assignments, bill of materials, and lead time data.
+ Support internal departments (e.g. Order Entry, Purchasing, Sales & Marketing, Customer Service).
+ Maintain the EDI cross-reference table and contract pricing table.
+ Maintain customer documents directory.
+ Collaborate with peers and stakeholders on item configuration requirements and process improvements.
**What You Need to Succeed:**
+ Equivalent knowledge and experience in Product configuration, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management and Data Management related fields. Candidates with relevant hands-on experience and demonstrated expertise will also be considered.
+ 2+ years of relevant work experience
+ HS Diploma/GED required, BS Degree preferred
+ Experience with data entry, data management, or product information management.
+ Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems can be advantageous.
+ Previous experience in retail, manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce, or related industry can be helpful.
+ Proficiency in product configuration and data entry tools.
+ Knowledge of MAPICS/ XA Powerlink ERP
+ Strong MS Excel skills.
+ Familiarity with data quality and data governance principles.
+ Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
+ Ability to analyze and validate data for completeness and correctness.
+ Problem solving skills to identify and correct data discrepancies.
+ Ability to manage large volumes of product data efficiently.
+ Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
+ Good written and verbal communication to liaise with cross-functional teams.
