American Express International Card Services - Commercial is the leading provider of payments for businesses of all sizes globally. The Product and Governance Team is a key part of ICS Commercial, responsible to drive business growth for ICS via manage all strategic projects, commercial products, marketing and control management initiatives.
**How will you make an impact in this role?**
We are looking for a dynamic leader who can work with a wide spectrum of internal and external partners and lead a team of managers for ICS Commercial, driving innovation and delivery across multiple teams, to bring growth strategies to Asia markets, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
The role is critical in sustaining and accelerating the growth of our commercial business across Asia. The successful candidate must possess a strong understanding of how business processes and technologies impact Commercial payments and be able to leverage this knowledge to create valuable solutions for our partners and customers, also ensuring control management is embedded in the day-to-day operations of our business.
This position requires a blend of business and technical acumen, project management, strategic thinking and a good understanding of the payments and financing industry.

+ Own, drive and execute elements of the Commercial Product portfolio delivery roadmap meeting strategic objectives ensuring transparency of initiative status and robust governance
+ Partner with the broader control management organization and country by country stakeholders to define best in class customer experiences for our products and translation of these into clear requirements for delivery
+ Collaborate with Technologies and Platform Centers of Excellence to define solutions that execute against strategic investment priorities driving alignment and trade-off decisions as necessary
+ As PMO to manage delivery of multiple large-scale projects simultaneously and/or complex enterprise programme initiatives with multiple internal and external stakeholders such as large scale change management or infrastructure projects.
+ Ability to mobilize virtual teams, establish governance frameworks and drive robust delivery execution ensuring management of scope, issues, risks and timely decision-making.
+ Support audit process, coordinate internal and external audits, respond to queries, own & remediate audit findings
+ Manage data needs across the enterprise and enable competitive benchmarking of our portfolio.
+ Responsible for partnership channel reviews; monitoring and reporting against KPIs, manage partner’s contract renewal process
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 8 years business experience in areas of product management in B2B Cards, or equivalent experience in Financial Services software product management
+ Exceptional strategic thinking with ability & creativity to identify sustainable partnership opportunities
+ Superior relationship skills: ability to build and leverage relationships internally, and mature understanding on strategically managing external partnerships to drive win-win outcomes
+ Strong business acumen and understanding of P&L
+ Strong quantitative skills with a solid understanding of MIS and statistics analysis
+ Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape affecting payment systems, including AML, KYC etc
+ Excellent presentation skills (development and delivery)
+ Proven experience defining and implementing strategies in partnership with third parties, product, and marketing
+ Strong analytical skills & attention to detail, with competency in Excel and/or other analytical tools
+ Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is essential
