Producer Service/Hedging Analyst

The Producer Service/Hedging Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the seeds hedge strategy, executing hedging operations, and meeting stakeholder needs. This position is also responsible for developing technical analyses to drive the achievement of the area’s Objectives and Key Results. We are looking for a candidate with a strong focus on operational excellence, an integrative mindset, critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for continuous learning. Key Responsibilities + Market Operations: Act as the primary interface with back offices of brokers, banks, clearing houses, and regulatory institutions for all commodity trades. + Production Collaboration: Work closely with the seeds production team, providing analysis and support pricing and derivatives. + Collaboration with Seeds Production Field Teams: Partner proactively with Seeds Production field teams to continuously improve the understanding of grower compensation exposures and the dynamics of production forecasts; Enable data-driven insights and scenario analyses to support the execution of effective hedging strategies that mitigate COGs risk. + Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as the department’s point of contact with key functions such as Tax, Controllership, and Finance, ensuring seamless integration and process alignment. + Process & Compliance: Maintain process design in accordance with internal controls and legal requirements, ensuring full compliance and risk mitigation. + Derivatives Management: Support and prepare materials for commodity derivatives reconciliations, valuations, hedge position allocations, and reporting needs. + Derivatives Operations: Manage daily settlements, margin calls, fee/brokerage payments, and provide support for treasury back-office transactions. + Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks related to derivatives, including broker registration, contracts and third-party payment management. **Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or Business Administration; + Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Agribusiness; + Excellent oral and written communication skills; + Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI (knowledge of VBA and/or Python is a plus); + Proficient in PowerPoint + Advanced English.
