Responsibilities

Receives direction from the Multimedia Productions Services Executive Producer and Enterprise Manager of Video Production.

The Producer/Director is responsible for all aspects of the videos they create, from initial concept through final delivery. They must be extremely creative, proactive, highly organized, and knowledgeable in all aspects of video production. Responsibilities include creating videos on topics such as staff training, patient education, patient stories, executive communication, benefactor programming, and clinical documentation. The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously is crucial. The Producer/Director is responsible for a moderate level of administrative and logistical duties in pre-production, production, and post. Occasional travel may be required.



Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a media-related field and a minimum of four (4) years’ video production required; or eight (8) years of relevant experience. Prior experience in producing high-end events, photoshoots, or video productions is preferred. Must possess a high level of emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills to be able to effectively interact with senior and executive-level Mayo Clinic personnel and non-Mayo Clinic professionals.

Additional Experience and/or Qualifications (Has Achieved Competency in the Following Areas, Job Knowledge and Additional Considerations):

Experience in documentary filmmaking and corporate video production is preferred. Candidates must possess a high level of emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with senior Mayo Clinic staff and a wide range of external professionals. A strong knowledge of video production is necessary, including proficiency in producing and directing, as well as demonstrated skill in operating video cameras, lighting equipment, and related video production and editing tools.
