 What You will Do:

Carries out procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysisResponds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfactionResponds to value stream inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfactionPrepares purchase orders, approves payments, and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidanceCompiles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable pricesPrepares request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages to take on new accountsContacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveriesResponsible for all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodityDirects and manages all schedules, and purchase orders for the value stream account or the product familyEnsures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right costPerform delivery assurance responsibilitiesDevelop and follow existing procedures, processes, and work instructions


How You Will Get Here:

4+ year degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience3+ years' experience as a BuyerExcellent Microsoft Office Suite skillsExposure to ERP systems, SAP preferredQuick learner with aptitude to learn more and drive changeExperience in working in a cross-functional teamSelf-motivated, disciplined, communicative, and organizedExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGreat interpersonal and networking skills

 

Pay Range: $65,000 – $71,000 a year

 

Work Requirements: This position is classified as Remote within the United States.

 

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of this role, proof of US Citizenship is required upon hire.

 

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required
