Procurement Supervisor
**What you’ll do:** **Job Summary** Organize, plan and supervise the standard purchasing process throughout the plant to support business strategy and execution. Responsible to manage the supplier On Time Delivery process and execution.Ownership & accountability for their parts to comply with demand to ensure zero material downtime and optimal inventory levels **Job Responsibilities** 1. Plan, organize and supervise the buyer's team to ensure that the purchasing process adheres to Supply Chain Policies and Corporate procedures and programs. 2.Prepare, establish and maintain procedures for the process effectiveness of the department. 3.Track and report shortage on a daily basis in order to mitigate supply and production risk. 4.Manage Excess & Obsolete materials to meet inventory targets. 5.Manage supplier relationship, performance and development. 6.Support and participate as needed in the development of the strategic plans and align departmental goals. 7.Responsible for managing and/or supporting supplier negotiations for direct & indirect material. 8.Responsible for minimizing purchase price variance. 9.Quote new products per divisional and corporate guidelines. 10.Restocking strategy, VMI, consignment activities, processes and procedures 11. Attract, motivates and retain talent following standard human resources procedures, aligned to DR labor law. 12. Identify, manage, and implement opportunities/projects to achieve the key business goals that are based on cost, quality and delivery. 13. Responsible for executing Profit Plan targets for Gross Inventory, AP Holds, DOH Profit Plan, Supplier OTD, PPV, Cost Out, and other key metrics as required by site and divisional leadership. \#LI-MV1 **Qualifications:** 1.Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related careers. 2.Minimum experience of 3 years in similar positions. 10.Preferable experience at the manufacturing area. 3.Bilingual (English/Spanish). 4.PC knowledge, Microsoft Office, AS400, VISTA Preferable. 5.MAPICS Certification as a plus. 6.CPIM Certification as a plus. 7. Experience supervising teams 8.Knowledge of Lean Tools 9.Knowledge of MRP, Inventory control and Custom Laws. 11.Competencies: Thinks and Acts Strategically, Gets Results, Builds Organizational Capability, and Digital mindset. **Skills:**
