Responsible for conducting detailed demand, spend, cost and market analysis and a structured approach to tendering and negotiating with suppliers. Develop and maintain vendor relationships including tracking and analysis of vendor spend and performance. While keeping an elevated engagement and alignment with our internal stakeholders and external partners to address the top business priorities, optimize the supply of goods and services and address cost reduction opportunities for Colgate, Hills Pet & Filorgas Companies.
**JOB EXPECTATIONS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Develop and implement data-driven sourcing strategies by applying spend analytics, industry benchmarking, and best practices to achieve savings and simplification targets.
+ Follow the Global Procurement governance in all projects, CRMC (Contract Risk Management Committee) approvals, eSourcing tools, Supplier Code of Conduct sign off, etc..
+ Support procurement risk assessment and mitigation plans.
+ Manage vendor creation, approvals, and ensure ethical relationships.
+ Ensure Stakeholder engagement to better understand the business needs and align on resources and priorities.
+ Lead effective contract execution and management for assigned categories.
+ Perform annual supplier segmentation & Drive process improvements within the category.
+ Lead and standardize e-Sourcing processes and templates.
+ Maintain Ariba Procurement tools
+ Take leadership on key initiatives with a proactive attitude.
+ Provide prompt support for ad-hoc requests from the global or divisional organization.
+ Support Manager with Customization & Warehousing Categories Management and supplier negotiations.
**SKILLS EXPECTED**
+ Strong Business Analysis. Using business tools and information systems when solving problems and making decisions. Using data to support recommendations.
+ Negotiation skills. Planning and anticipation, demonstrates professionalism in all business settings and shows ability to control emotions, mannerisms, and communication style.
+ Teamwork and Relationship building. Being a team player when interacting with stakeholders and peers. Able to manage relationships at all levels of the organization
+ Project management skills & Setting Priorities
+ Ability to work cross functional and cross regional.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Min 3-5 years in the supply chain and/or procurement
+ Knowledge and experience on the Mexico Transportation Market (rates and negotiations)
+ Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or relevant field.
