**Responsibilities**
Works with internal customers to source, price, and issue purchase orders to meet the work requests of maintenance supervisors and technicians. Requires direct involvement with division work units in committing significant institutional dollars in the procurement of supplies, equipment, services and inventory. Develops sourcing strategies, procurement analysis, and provides oversight to the staff involved with preparing and placing purchase orders. Responsibilities also include resolving service issues with vendors, analyze and report purchasing data, Identify expense management initiatives. Maintain relationships with vendors regarding business issues, pricing, expediting, technology changes, and process improvements. Participates in multiple work groups and assists with projects as directed by FM Director Materials Management. Reviews replenishment report daily, with Warehouse Supervisor, for parts needed to replenish distribution center and van inventory and issues PO’s for stock replenishment Expedites all work orders as necessary and communicate with technicians and warehouse staff shipping dates. Obtains quotes and selects sources for best pricing. Process parts returns back to supplier as necessary. Resolves supplier, PO, or pricing issues. Involved with adding, changing, or deleting parts in the warehouse software system. Coordinate obtaining Mayo part#’s for new parts being added to inventory. Works with SCM Contracting where a contract may need to be in place with regard to a supplier or product category. Work on supplier consolidation for pricing advantages. Monitor for inventory value and stock turns.
**Qualifications**
Bachelors degree with 5 years of supply chain related experience OR Associates degree with 7 years supply chain experience OR High School diploma and 9 years supply chain experience. Bachelors degree preferred. Requires strong personal computer skills, communication skills, problem solving, continuous improvement, and teaming skills. Possesses an understanding of accounting principles. A broad knowledge of Mayo Clinic financial and administrative systems/applications and processes is desirable. Able to handle/prioritize tasks simultaneously and manage time to meet required deadlines. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment to provide solutions for customer product/service needs. Certification in a professional supply chain organization (e.g. ISM, APICS) is desired.

$78,936.00 - $118,456.00 / year; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
