Description We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement team in a biotech environment. This role partners closely with Category Leaders and Category Managers to execute sourcing initiatives, manage contract workflows, and support procurement operations across multiple enterprise spend areas. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong experience with ERP systems, contract coordination, and vendor management. Key Responsibilities + Support end‑to‑end SOW, budget, and contract development workflows + Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders within ERP systems (SAP preferred) + Coordinate contract reviews through CLM tools (Agiloft preferred) + Partner with Legal and Business Owners to ensure contract alignment + Support RFI/RFP processes, including vendor communications and bid analysis + Assist with vendor evaluations and supplier meetings + Manage vendor accruals, budget tracking, and forecasting + Resolve AP and receiving discrepancies + Support category initiatives and cross‑functional procurement projects Required Qualifications + 5+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience + Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred + ERP system experience required (SAP preferred) + Experience supporting RFP/RFI processes + Strong SOW and contract workflow coordination experience + Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel + Ability to collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Operations teams + High attention to detail and compliance awareness (GMP/GxP preferred) Preferred Experience + Agiloft or other CLM tools (Icertis, Ironclad, DocuSign CLM) + Vendor risk management platforms + Accrual and forecasting processes + Category-based sourcing models + Supplier scorecards and supplier performance management Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alameda, CA.
