Procurement Specialist

Streamlines purchasing operations, maintains supplier data in ERP, and ensures compliance with procurement standards and trade terms.

Requirements

Completed 2-year vocational training in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Up to 1 year of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations

Basic understanding of procurement workflows and supply chain operations

Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems

Knowledge of INCOTERMS, commodity codes, and standard purchasing terms

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with approved-supplier frameworks and supplier portals (e.g., ERP-integrated vendor platforms)

Experience working from forward procurement lists or equivalent sourcing tools

Responsibilities

Process purchase requests within defined thresholds, ensuring accurate entry of trade data (e.g., commodity codes, INCOTERMS)

Analyze material availability and manage purchase orders from creation through delivery for on-time, cost-efficient supply

Verify order content for alignment with procurement policies and operational demand

Enforce use of approved suppliers and adhere to internal procurement standards and systems

Identify and document cost-saving opportunities to support contribution to net income (CNI)

Maintain and update supplier master data in ERP and archive documents per local regulations

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve material and information flow across the supply chain



Pay Details: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour
