Job Title: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist with at least 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with exposure to FPSO projects and offshore operations. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing end-to-end procurement processes, including RFQ preparation, bid coordination, purchase order management, and supplier performance evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:Preparation of RFQ Documents:
Develop bidder lists for assigned RFQ packages Prepare and issue RFQ-specific commercial documents Coordinate clarifications and revisions with suppliersBid Coordination:
Conduct bid openings and prepare bid rankings Issue bid clarification requests and coordinate meetings with biddersBid Evaluation & Negotiation:
Review bid evaluations with project teams Identify negotiation points and lead commercial negotiations to secure optimal dealsPurchase Order Development:
Issue POs in compliance with SOPs, DWIs, ethical standards, and quality requirementsPO Change Management:
Negotiate and issue PO change orders Prepare procurement status reports for internal and external stakeholdersInvoice & Documentation Support:
Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to accounting queries Administer and negotiate back charges with suppliers Address vendor documentation queriesCorrective Action & Warranty Claims:
Ensure timely and satisfactory responses to Corrective Action Requests (CARs) Administer and negotiate warranty claims with suppliersSupplier Performance Management:
Document supplier performance evaluations Provide timely feedback using the Supplier Performance Management System Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of procurement experience in the oil & gas sector Experience in FPSO projects and offshore operations is a strong advantage Strong negotiation, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills Familiarity with procurement systems and compliance standards#LI-AK1
