Main Responsibilities:

Procurement activities mainly sourcing goods (raw materials, components, finished products etc.) from domestic and overseas suppliers.These activities include transactions between MJL and other Moog lnter-Company sites (BtoB transactions).Perform daily procurement-related tasks in a timely manner to contribute to customer satisfaction.Maintain master data in the SAP properly and perform procurement tasks by making use of the ERP system.Understand suppliers’ capacity based on demand and promote cost reduction by sharing long-term plans.Proactively engage in tasks by analyzing performance from different angles so that KPIs are achieved.Communicate with suppliers to ensure that optimum pricings, delivery dates and terms & conditions are effectively maintained. Manage suppliers with the support of supervisors and other experts as necessary.Participate in various projects and rationally select suppliers as sources of parts and products.Perform purchasing activities in compliance with Moog's SOX and other ethics and compliance rules as well as Japanese and U.S. laws.Promptly escalate any problems that arise to supervisors and higher management team.Evaluate suppliers by having a support from Supplier Quality team from the QCD standpoint of view and work with suppliers to improve their performances based on the results.Carry out other necessary duties assigned for business benefit.

国内外のサプライヤからの物品（材料、部品、コンポーネント、完成品など）を主とした調達業務を行う。これらの活動には、MJLと他のMoog拠点間の取引（いわゆる企業間取引）を含む。調達に関連する日々の業務をタイムリーにこなし顧客満足度に貢献する。SAPシステムのマスタデータを適切に維持管理し、ERPシステムを用いて調達業務を遂行する。デマンドからサプライヤの負荷能力を把握し長期的なプランを共有することでコスト低減を促す。KPIが達成される様、色々な角度から分析を行い積極的に業務に取り組む。適切な価格、納期、取引条件などが有効に維持される様、サプライヤとコミュニケーションを図り、必要に応じて上司やその他の専門家のサポートを受けながらサプライヤを管理する。様々なプロジェクトへ参画し部品および製品の調達先としてサプライヤを合理的に選定する。購買業務における、MoogのSOX法およびその他の倫理・コンプライアンス規則、ならびに日本および米国の法律に準拠して遂行する。問題が発生した場合、上司または上位の経営陣に速やかにエスカレーションする。サプライヤ品質チームの協力を得てQCDの観点からサプライヤを正しく評価し、その結果に基づいてパフォーマンスを改善するためにサプライヤと協働する。その他、必要に応じてビジネス上の利益のためにアサインされた業務を行う。

Qualifications:

Education/degree:

Bachelor’s degree or technical school graduate, ideally engineering related major in mechanical, electrical or Industrial etc. or any majors related to purchasing or demand management etc.

Work experience:

At least 3+ years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, Production planner
