Job Description

As part of our SOP (Sales Order Processing) team, we are looking for a motivated and proactive Procurement Specialist who will play a key role in managing supplier relations and ensuring a smooth, efficient and reliable supply of materials. The position involves both operational and analytical responsibilities, with the goal of building long-term, win-win relationships with suppliers and continuously improving supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze supplier portfolio, capacities and performanceCreate and manage purchase orders; follow up on confirmationsExpedite and monitor on-time delivery; manage supplier interactionsEvaluate material and information flows across the value chainDesign and optimize inbound material flows from external suppliersSupport the design of a component supermarket and internal logistics flowsContribute to the implementation of production and transportation Kanban loopsCollaborate with production, planning, logistics and quality departments

QualificationsEducation: Degree in Economics, Management Engineering or related fieldsExperience: We are looking for motivated recent graduates or young professionals with up to 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); SAP or ERP systems knowledge is a plusLanguages: Fluent in Italian; good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level)Soft Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, proactive attitude, communication and negotiation abilities, team player mindset and problem-solving orientation
