The primary responsibility of the Procurement Regional Sourcing Manager is to manage and assure supply, connect with our field teammates to address issues as they arise and source more operational categories (tail spend) using the DaVita Way of Procurement. The role will work closely with our central category teams to ensure compliance with our category strategies. They will provide input for our category strategies. They will also manage our Supplier Quality program. They will be key for our Business Continuity plans and risk work.

React quickly when supply assurance issues arise. Do root-cause analysis to determine best course of action. Communicate to proper levels within the village. Ultimately address these issues and build plans to improve in the futureDevelop a comprehensive view of the balance between supply and demand and actively monitor market conditions for the team’s categories on an ongoing basis to make informed decisions.Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborating across business units and regional teams fosters positive organizational outcomes, ensuring alignment and synergy in procurement efforts. Form relationships with the Field to provide input to the Supply Chain and Category Sourcing teamImprove quality and services of the goods and services we use in our clinics. Driving savings in tail spend areas using DaVita Way of Procurement.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Understand how our clinics operate and use direct and indirect materials and servicesUnderstand kidney care and how our services are providedKnowledge of supply assurance programs, total quality management, business continuity and risk managementHave experience with the sourcing process from end to end including RFIs/RFPs, bid analysis, supplier negotiation, and contractingProvide insights and recommendations based on analysis, research, industry trends, benchmarking, and best practicesIdentify and document supplier risk items and develop mitigation strategies and plansMonitor compliance with DaVita’s product formularies and ensure contract terms are being metCollaborate with internal business partners both clinical and technical to understand demand and supplier trendsAbility to balance multiple tasks and competing priorities simultaneouslyOther Duties as AssignedEducation and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of relevant SC/Procurement experience, or an MBA with background in contract analysis and negotiation. Experience in Finance, Operations and similar functions is applicableExcellent verbal and written communication skills. The position requires interaction with teammates in various departments and with supplier partners.Able to work independently to balance multiple tasks and competing priorities simultaneouslyExperience leading & executing RFPs and competitive bidding processesExcellent computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint & Word, ability to operate Tableau (building dashboards is not required but experience is valued)Personal values in line with DaVita’s values of Service Excellence, Integrity, Team, Continuous Improvement, Accountability, Fulfillment & Fun.Ability to get the job done, push through obstacles, and take full accountability and ownership of workCertificates, Licenses, and Registrations

The Salary Range for the role is $104,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year.
