About the role:

The Procurement Specialist Packaging – Category for LAC is pivotal in performing Diageo's Business Strategy from F25 to F27. This role focuses on evaluating critical marketing suppliers through an End-to-End analysis, considering capacity, technology, supplier location, and supply chain factors. The position is critical for driving growth and value in key segments like RTD beverages across LAC, with a primary focus on Brazil.

Business Context:

This strategic role supports the Enable Growth and Drive Value pillars by ensuring resilience and flexibility across packaging suppliers. It involves building partnerships with partners to enhance market performance and mitigate risks while aligning with global strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead procurement for Packaging Categories in Brazil and support other LAC regions.Develop market-specific category strategies using Diageo’s procedures.Ensure end-to-end execution of category strategies aligned with business objectives.Develop positive relationships witteam membersrs and suppliers to drive procurement value.Enhance market performance through effective strategy execution and risk mitigation.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.Minimum 5 years’ experience in Procurement Packaging.Consistent record in leading projects, mahandlinguppliers, and developing procurement strategies.Strong analytical skills with financial awareness relevant to category goals.Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-border teams.

Skills & Competencies:

Critical thinking with the ability to develop long-term plans aligned with organizational goals.Proficiency in data analysis tools and E2E supply chain management analytics.Strong negotiation skills for securing favorable terms with suppliers.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
