As part of our Global Procurement team, we are looking for a Director of Dairy Procurement to lead the sourcing strategy for Dairy raw materials across North America. This role supports the end-to-end strategic sourcing and supply assurance of Dairy raw materials, supporting multiple business units in Nutrition, Beverages and emerging brands. You'll operate within a high-impact, matrixed environment, partnering with cross-functional leaders to develop long-terms strategies, optimize cost, ensure supply continuity and drive supplier innovation and sustainability. Responsibilities Category Leadership & Strategy Development Support the execution of the strategic roadmap for Dairy raw material sourcing in North America, in alignment with PepsiCo’s nutrition, innovation and supply chain priorities. Assist in implementing multi-year category strategies focused on cost transformation, value engineering, risk mitigation, and supplier performance. Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities and value chain dynamics to inform sourcing decisions and support strategy refinement by senior leaders. Value Creation & Cost Optimization Support the tracking and reporting of Dairy category performance across cost, innovation, quality and sustainability metrics. Leverage market intelligence, commodity data and supplier inputs to identify opportunities for total cost of ownership (TCO) improvement in collaboration with the category lead. Support forecasting, cost modeling and scenario planning efforts that align with broader portfolio goals Supplier Management & Sourcing and Contracting Support the day-to-day management of relationships with dairy processors and co-manufacturers, with a focus on ensuring supply continuity, service levels and execution of innovation plans. Assist in the execution of supplier agreements and commercial terms, ensuring alignment with PepsiCo’s risk, compliance and operational requirements. Help maintain and update the supplier ecosystem by coordinating onboarding activities, tracking performance and supporting the implementation of supplier improvement initiatives. Contribute to the execution of supplier relationship management (SRM) processes, including data gathering for joint business reviews, innovation updates and governance routines. Innovation & Portfolio Growth Enablement Collaborate with R&D, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to ensure Dairy raw material sourcing requirements are aligned with ongoing product development and innovation priorities. Support new product development efforts by coordinating early supplier engagement, gathering technical and commercial inputs and assisting with the execution of scale-up and commercialization plans. Track timelines, manage sourcing deliverables, and help ensure alignment between innovation milestones and supply readiness. Sustainability & Compliance Support the integration of PepsiCo Positive (pep+) initiatives within Dairy raw material sourcing, with a focus on executing programs related to greenhouse gas reduction, responsible sourcing and animal welfare. Assist in tracking supplier compliance with sustainability goals and provide data and reporting to internal stakeholders as needed. Ensure sourcing activities adhere to regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USDA, anti-competition decree) and internal responsible sourcing policies, escalating issues as appropriate. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually. Qualifications Required Experience: 3-5 years of experience in procurement, category management, or dairy ingredient sourcing, ideally within a Dairy-focused or food manufacturing organization. Solid understanding of milk supply chains, including key technologies, dairy economics and supplier dynamics. Experience supporting contract negotiations, managing supplier relationships and contributing to supply agreements. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and navigate matrixed environments. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to support internal collaboration and external supplier engagement. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Agribusiness, Business, or a related field. Familiarity with commodity risk management, milk marketing regulations and Dairy ingredient sourcing platforms. Experience supporting procurement or sourcing activities within CPG, nutrition or beverage industries is preferred. Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to support decision-making and execution. Leadership & Business Acumen: Solid commercial awareness and understanding of financial drivers related to procurement and supply chain. High learning agility and adaptability to navigate complex, fast-paced environments. Effective collaborator who works well in cross-functional teams and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
