Role Description
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for both the strategic and operational management of corporate procurement. This includes ensuring the selection of reliable suppliers, effective negotiation of contractual terms, and compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The role oversees the entire procurement cycle, contributing to the operational efficiency of photovoltaic and energy efficiency projects, as well as supporting corporate functions.
Responsibilities and Objectives
Define and implement procurement strategies for goods, services, and subcontracting
Oversee sourcing processes, supplier evaluation, and qualification
Lead commercial negotiations for strategic and high-impact orders
Establish, structure, and keep up to date procurement processes and contract standards, ensuring compliance with internal policies
Coordinate the buying team and administrative documentation, maintaining full traceability of RFQs, offers, and project contract documents
Manage supply issues and relationships with key strategic suppliers
Main Activities
Manage tenders for key purchases (modules, inverters, systems, services, works)
Draft and validate purchase contracts
Support Project Managers in procurement related to individual projects
Analyze and update the vendor list based on qualification and vendor rating processes
Monitor markets and benchmark prices
Supervise order flow, delivery notes, and invoices in collaboration with the AFC (Administration, Finance & Control) department
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Average annual savings generated through negotiations
Compliance of supplies with technical specifications and timelines
Supplier reliability level (quality/delivery KPIs)
Administrative efficiency of the procurement cycle
Average order processing time
Requirements
Education: Master’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Law, or equivalent. Additional qualifications such as an MBA or specific procurement training will be considered an asset
Experience: At least ten (10) years of experience in procurement within the Renewable Energy sector (Photovoltaics, Storage, Wind)
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of the renewable energy sector and key industry players
Soft Skills: Leadership and team motivation capabilities, excellent negotiation and communication skills, strong results orientation
Languages: Fluent English (knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage)
