Procurement Manager

To support the continued growth and excellence of our global operations, we are seeking a Procurement Manager with a strong focus on ensuring optimal part availability, effective inventory management, and high supplier quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership and management capabilities to inspire, develop, and guide both direct and cross-functional teams. This role also requires the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, integrate seamlessly into the supply chain, and collaborate closely with cross-functional leadership. ​

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage buyer teams across multiple geographic locations, ensuring alignment with procurement goals and operational efficiency.

Management of the procurement and supply chain of raw material for serial production and logistic centers with highest part availability.

Inventory management for different product lines with high technology life sciences products, throughout the product life cycle.

Ensuring delivery schedules, leading escalations and support negotiations.

Close collaboration with production and surrounding departments.

Master data governance, ERP set up enhancements and fostering best practice mythology.

Support of global procurement teams and worldwide efficiency improvements.

Support strategic supply chain initiatives.

Drive and/or support organizational programs and projects.

Ensure continues knowledge enhancement and keeping abreast on supply chain trends.

Accountable for ensuring departmental compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

10+ years' of experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations management.

2+ years' of experience leading a team, program or project.

Strong team orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage remote teams effectively.

Proven success in ensuring supply continuity, driving cost optimization, managing inventory effectively, and maintaining high standards of supplier quality.

Advance skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Strong understanding of life science instrumentation; prior experience in this area is a valuable asset.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $111,840.00 - $174,750.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
