Your Mission

Join BMG’s team as Procurement Manager and play a key role in shaping our procurement strategy! In this role, you'll collaborate with the People Excellence, Finance, Legal, and other teams to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations while optimizing procurement practices. As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide expert guidance, negotiate contracts for cost savings, and oversee critical supplier assessments. You’ll also drive the adoption of SAP MM within the business and work closely with Global Procurement to implement strategic initiatives locally. What You'll Be Doing

Generate tangible savings in procurement through re-negotiation and implementation of a procurement strategy. Ensure procurement guidelines, procedures, and policies are clearly communicated and consistently followed across the company. Work closely with People Excellence, Finance, Legal, and other teams to ensure the procurement regulations are up to date with any internal and external regulations (e.g. Supplier Code of Conduct, IR35, Modern Slavery Act, etc.). Act as an advisor to the business, offering guidance and support on procurement-related inquiries and assist them in the procurement activities. Supervise the SAP MM purchase order process, ensuring preferred suppliers are utilized, required quotations are obtained, and procurement activities align with company policies and procedures. Own and manage supplier onboarding process, perform periodic supplier performance & risk assessment. Provide support to end users (business), addressing and resolving supplier-related issues that may arise. Collaborate with Global Procurement on local, regional, and global procurement strategies.

 

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Experience in indirect procurement, compliance, or related field. Knowledge of generally accepted procurement practices. Experience working with SAP SRM or MM modules. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. First class attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
