**Description - External** **JOB PURPOSE:** This position is responsible for leading procurement activities and managing supplier relationships to support the organization’s operational and strategic goals. The Procurement Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure cost-effective purchasing practices, drive compliance, and optimize supplier performance. In addition to the responsibilities listed, the position will support special initiatives as assigned by the Director of Supply Chain Management. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Develops, negotiates, and manages procurement contracts and Supply Chain agreements for goods and services, ensuring alignment with company policies, legal standards, and business objectives. + Oversees the full procurement lifecycle, including vendor selection, contract execution, renewals, and terminations. + Partners with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and provide strategic sourcing solutions. + Implements and monitors supplier performance metrics to ensure quality, cost, and delivery standards are met within the procurement process. + Leads negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing while maintaining strong supplier relationships. + Designs and executes procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and budgetary constraints. + Manages the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including drafting, distribution, evaluation, and award recommendations. **Qualifications - External** **MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:** Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field) **MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:** 7-10 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience **ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)** + Experience in supply chain or procurement within the healthcare industry + Master’s Degree (MBA or related field) + Strong analytical, negotiation, and contract management skills **Family Makes Us Stronger.** Our family, your family, one family.
