Procurement Manager – Fleet Operations Manager - NA (Fleet)

This take-charge leader will lead Fleet Operations for North America (Canada and US) for assigned subcategories, including Light Fleet, and will typically report to the Director of Supply Chain Indirect.  The strong performer will be recognized as operations strategy expert and will collaborate with Divisional Sales and Operations, Safety Health and Environmental, HR, Supply Chain Finance Leaders, and Suppliers to identify and drive OI Improvement via savings, innovation, and process improvements.  

What you will do:

Identifies, develops, and implements broader category product and service strategies / savings projects for the Light Fleet category to reduce and optimize the total cost of ownership of assets, mitigate headwinds, implement best practices, and lead continuous improvement initiatives for Ecolab’s NA fleet of approximately 12,000 sales and service vehicles.Effectively communicates strategies, results, and metrics to leadership teams as required (examples: Quarterly Fleet Briefs, Hosting Quarterly Fleet Advisory Committees, and Annual Policy Developments).Develops Fleet Offering and Service Strategies and ensures vendor offerings are best-in-class, sustainable, and deliver the lowest Cost Per Mile “CPM” for the benefit of Ecolab business requirements and goals.Stays abreast of industry trends for assigned categories.  Provides guidance and recommendations to business units and teams to support margin and top line growth.Ensures all lifecycle activities are completed on time and in compliance with necessary timelines related to Planning, Ordering, Maintenance, and Disposal of assets.Develops business relationships at multiple levels within supplier accounts to manage performance, quality improvement, productivity, and service levels.  Including the management of SLA performance issue resolution and credit recoveries.Leads, coaches, and develops direct reports to ensure strong fleet performance and build high performing teams. Develops, aligns, and drives strategic projects to improve procurement processes, tools, and efficiencies.Manages vendor relationship management work streams associated with growth strategies and acquisitions to meet corporate objectives.Partners with Asset Management Sourcing Teams to provide appropriate needs analysis and detail related to sourcing strategies that support Fleet Operations.Effectively implements strategic supplier strategies and initiatives.Partners with Corporate and Supply Chain Finance teams on lease/buy strategy, P&L forecast impact, and budget development planning.Aligned with Asset Management Sourcing and Corporate Sustainability team to meet corporate goals for carbon emission reduction.

Minimum Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, Business, Finance, or related field5+ years of experience in Fleet Management or Supply ChainAbility to handle a broad range of responsibilities through time management and prioritizationImmigration Sponsorship is not offered for this role

Preferred Qualifications:  

Certified Automotive Fleet Manager Certification.Experience with Fleet Operations Management.Solid analytical skills and at least 7-10 years of work experience in a business environmentAdvanced degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, Finance, or related field Demonstrated history of leadership, teamwork, and project management skillsDemonstrated competitive drive and strong orientation for results and achievementDemonstrated skills in clear communication, professionalism, and presence in interaction with others

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $104,700.00 - $157,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
