This role is ideal for a polyvalent and dynamic legal professional who thrives in cross-functional collaboration and is eager to work on a wide range of legal topics, including those related to emerging technologies such as AI. As Legal Counsel, you will provide pragmatic and strategic legal advice on procurement-related matters to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance while enabling our teams to operate efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across different markets and business units, helping them navigate complex legal landscapes in their daily operations. Responsibilités Draft, review, and negotiate procurement-related contracts and documentation, including IT/Technology and SaaS-cloud license subscriptions agreements, professional services, marketing and production taking into account the strategy, risk and mitigation analysis, internal reviews and in liaison with all subject matter experts in their various disciplines Provide strategic legal advice on a broad spectrum of topics, including intellectual property, regulatory compliance, civil law, and commercial law, to support Procurement and other cross-functional teams Monitor and manage incoming legal requests, ensuring timely, practical, and business-aligned responses to stakeholders Collaborate closely with departments such as compliance, data privacy, internal audit, IT security, and finance on transversal legal and compliance matters Deliver training sessions to Procurement teams on relevant legal topics Contribute to the development and standardization of templates, processes, and legal guidelines, helping improve efficiency and consistency across the Procurement legal function Stay abreast of legal changes and developments affecting the Groupe, its clients and industries and if appropriate, incorporate into the Procurement best practices Support legal risk assessments of suppliers and procurement projects, particularly those involving technology, AI, or cross-border data flows Supervise and mentor legal intern, sharing your expertise and encouraging professional growth Stay informed of evolving regulations, especially in areas impacting procurement (e.g., EU AI Act, IT/digital services, Media/Production, data protection, etc.) and translate legal developments into actionable guidance Qualifications Strong academic background in law, with a degree from a recognized university; admission to practice in a civil law jurisdiction (preferably France) is required, while qualification in a common law and/or U.S. jurisdiction is a strong plus 3–5 years of legal experience in contract and commercial law, ideally gained in a reputable law firm, multinational corporation, or public company, with exposure to procurement-related matters The candidate must have fluent oral and written English skills and be able to work effectively in English Demonstrated expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including IT/technology contracts, SaaS/cloud agreements, and licensing arrangements Solid understanding of intellectual property, data privacy regulations, and regulatory compliance as they relate to procurement and technology contracts Comfortable advising on AI-related legal issues, with a genuine interest in artificial intelligence and its evolving regulatory landscape; familiarity with the EU AI Act is a strong advantage Highly polyvalent, adaptable, and a fast learner, with the ability to quickly grasp and address diverse legal and business challenges in a fast-paced, international environment Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and high-volume workloads while maintaining attention to detail and delivering results Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively to both legal and non-legal stakeholders Effective stakeholder and relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multicultural and cross-functional teams Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a service- and results-oriented approach Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, with an eagerness to contribute to team success and continuous improvement Informations complémentaires Don’t tick every single box?
