Procurement Excellence Manager (PMO)

As a Project/Program Manager supporting our Global Procurement Organization, you will lead and manage a portfolio of strategic sourcing initiatives across Direct and Indirect categories. You will facilitate cross-functional collaboration, develop impactful business cases, track budgets and P&L, and deliver executive-level presentations to drive informed decision-making. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

In this role, a typical day will include:Leading strategic procurement projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budget.Facilitating Direct and Indirect Sourcing Councils, driving agendas, monitoring action items, and ensuring progress against targets.Developing comprehensive reports, dashboards, and insights to track spend, savings, and project performance.Building and presenting compelling business cases to senior stakeholders to support decision-making.Partnering with the sourcing team, finance, and key stakeholders to identify opportunities, resolve conflicts, and provide consultative recommendations.
 WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.7+ years of project/program management experience, ideally in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain.Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, P&L management, and variance analysis.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the courage and confidence to influence at all levels.High resilience, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Analytical mindset, curiosity, and conflict management skills.Experience in pharma, medical devices, or services is preferred.
