Job Purpose:
Drive the digital transformation of procurement processes by implementing digitalization strategies, tools, and best practices to ensure a compliant, efficient, and effective procurement organization. Identify, implement, and manage best-in-class, future-proof applications that align with the holistic Source-to-Pay landscape, ensuring tools are user-friendly, deliver reliable data, and support streamlined processes. Take ownership as Project Manager and Application Owner for procurement sourcing tools, automation technologies, and related projects, including content management, workflow optimization, technical integrations, system consolidations, migrations, and rollouts.
Your tasks:
Act as a Expert Sourcing Tool / Project Manager / Process Analyst of Procurement processes & tools to assess potential to digitize and automate business processes AI & Machine Learning Implementation: Develop and implement AI and machine learning models, including LLMs, to analyze procurement data, enhancing decision-making processes. Stakeholder Engagement & Training: Assess requests from Business Process Owners, evaluate feasibility, draft requirements, and act as a change agent by training end users to improve tool adoption and efficiency. Software Release Coordination: Oversee new releases of procurement software applications, ensuring thorough testing and documentation (releases, change requests, incidents) to maintain business continuity. Process Improvement: Support training of business process owners and stakeholders in advanced system usage, propose enhancements to improve process efficiency, and manage stakeholder relationships across various levels. Project Leadership: Lead digitalization projects using agile and Lean methodologies to drive transformation initiatives. Automation & Integration: Utilize LowCode/NoCode tools to automate sourcing processes, delivering efficiency gains and striving for a seamlessly integrated application landscape. Global Alignment: Support aligning global and regional perspectives and standardize approaches.. Industry Awareness: Stay informed about advancements in AI, machine learning, LLMs, and procurement technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation. Vendor Liaison: Collaborate with internal and external service providers to ensure designs meet requirements, fostering strong, trusting relationships with key stakeholders. Change Management & Support: Ensure effective change management and provide training and support for both internal and external stakeholders using automated procurement platforms.Your profile:
Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred (Industrial Engineering, IT, Data Science, Technology, or Science) or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of professional experience, ideally in procurement, IT, or project management. Strong background in procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and related tools. Experience with procurement software (eSourcing, CLM, eSigning, AI/Analytics). Ability to apply AI and machine learning, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), in procurement or supply chain contexts. Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerApps, process modeling tools, and programming languages such as Python or R; familiar with relevant libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers). Integration experience is a plus. Project and change management experience, including cost, quality, and content control. Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset. Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn new digital platforms. Team player with adaptability to diverse working styles and cultures; proactive and persistent mindset.
