Job Title: Procurement Contract Specialist

Job Description

The Procurement Contract Specialist role is a collaborative and results-oriented position within our Global Procurement Team. This role focuses on a wide range of indirect categories and supports sourcing and contract management activities, including commercial, IT, corporate services, and Science & Technology (S&T). The specialist will be part of the Indirect and Operations Procurement team and collaborate with Category Managers to execute supplier contracts using the contract lifecycle management tool (CLM).

Responsibilities

Collaborate and support the documentation of comprehensive processes for providing back-office support to category and contract management through the CLM.Work with Legal and Procurement Teams to ensure appropriate application of contracting guidelines for various contract scenarios.Review and negotiate strong Statements of Work (SOW).Communicate clearly with various stakeholders partnering with Procurement.Maintain documents and document metadata within the CLM.Promote corporate objectives and change initiatives, ensuring that the sourcing team supports overall company direction and growth.Work efficiently and prioritize tasks based on corporate objectives and needs.Monitor Procurement and end-user compliance.

Essential Skills

Intermediate to expert level skills in CLM tool utilization, contract management, and deadline management.Strong initiative and independent thinking to prioritize workload and determine task accomplishment with limited supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business field preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing/procurement/contract management function preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in indirect procurement preferred.Experience with IntelAgree or other CLM preferred.Project management experience in a corporate and/or professional services environment preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Ability to interface with internal stakeholders and suppliers via strong written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.Solid multi-phase project management skills.

Work Environment

The Procurement Contract Specialist reports to the Procurement Operations Director and partners closely with the Global Procurement Team and internal stakeholders. The role requires strong collaboration and communication skills to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

This is a Contract position based out of Hazelwood, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
