As a SCPFO Procurement Consultant, you will be part of the procurement department supporting various business units. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record in project management which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Procurement Consultant (IT contracts)
**Location:** Columbus, OH
**Pay Range:** $46
**Candidates** : US Citizens or GC Holders
**What's the Job?**
+ Serve as the subject matter expert in the development of sourcing strategies for labor, services, materials, and equipment.
+ Apply negotiation techniques to achieve sourcing and contracting objectives.
+ Manage supplier performance, contract compliance, and risk to support overarching category management strategies.
+ Lead cross-functional teams and direct activities associated with sourcing and contracting.
+ Develop and write contracts, ensuring alignment with business requirements and performance criteria.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain, or related field.
+ 5 years of relevant work experience, including experience with cross-functional teams.
+ Experience in supply chain category management, preferably within the utility, manufacturing, or construction industry.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with business partners and suppliers.
