Position Summary

Entry level Buyer to support data pull, slide preparation, reporting, analysis, projects and other similar scope. Buyer will report to the Planning Team Supervisor and be responsible for direct pull of data, reporting out to key stakeholders on regular cadence, and interaction with other key stakeholders including DSK Procurement.
Role will require both the ability to pull and analyze data but also to present results in reports and presentations.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's what you'll be responsible for:

Internal data maintenance and regular reporting (ex. weekly days of inventory/shortage reporting, monthly RM Forecast report card, Cost Per Wafer reports, etc)

Cost owner for Procurement function across all teams; track/manage/analyze CoEn activity, report out regularly, prepare monthly analysis summary + Exec CoEn presentation, etc

Support internal and external requests for data and analysis, including adhoc request from DS Procurement

Coordinate SOP/certification process across Procurement

Support development and implementation of software, systems upgrades (ex. GSRM →NSRM), new programs (ex. MATS) and other systems-based improvements

Project management for team-wide improvements

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll bring to Samsung:

Bilingual (English/Korean) required

Undergraduate degree in Business/Supply Chain Management (ideal); Chemical/Mechanical/Material Engineering, or other related field 

Strong proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel); previous experience with ERP and inventory management systems strongly preferred

Strong communication (verbal & written), data analysis, and time management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

The current base salary range for this role is between $57,760 - $103,970. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
