Primary Job Responsibilities:
As a Supply Chain Management Analyst, you will purchase Partner Managed Inventory (PMI) parts for Boeing’s Tier-1 consuming suppliers in Japan and Korea and help ensure on-time, high-quality and best cost for airplane parts for Boeing Commercial Airplanes by engaging with. Day-to-day job responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Follow established PMI procedures and process which ensures on-time delivery of parts in a complex global supply chainPerforms audits and other forms of analysis of information from multiple sources to determine accuracy relative to delivery schedules, inventories levels, requirements, etc.Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chainCoordinates and communicate with all external/internal stakeholders to support production requirements and mitigate the risk to the customersAnalyze inventory plans and track inventory availability to support productionAnalyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories Works under general direction to analyze demand and schedules to release and maintain purchase orders to support operationsManage and resolve order delinquencies and schedule adherence issues Inventory oversight and control inclusive of auditing, reconciling and ordering adjustmentsMaintain and enhance Material Requirements Planning (MRP)/Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system to ensure accuracy and complianceSupport emergent or unplanned demand orderingCoordinates, adjusts, and updates part number attributesEstablish and maintain relationships with suppliers and supply chain personnelDevelop, recommend and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive performance to operational targetsDrive to resolve issues which ensure safety, quality, and performance-to-planProactively identify and capture process improvement activities and cost savings opportunitiesCommunicate supplier performance status to leadership and internal and external business partnersBasic Qualifications:
1 year or more related work experiences, Understanding or experiencing manufacturing industries or Supply Chain experiencesExcellent written and oral communication skills in English requiredBasic level and knows how to utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Supply chain knowledge and/or Procurement experienceProven ability to collaborate productively in multidiscipline teaming environmentsEnjoys system and process transactional work and takes the initiative to resolve exceptions and issues that ariseExercises critical thinking and innovative problem solvingIntermediate Qualifications:
1-3 years or more related work experiences, Understanding or experiencing manufacturing industries or Supply Chain experiencesExperience with ERP/SAP system Ability to analyze complex or large data sets to make informed decisions and arrive at an optimal solutionAbility to work independently with guidance in a challenging environment Enjoys root cause/corrective action and reconciliation activities to resolve documentation, order planning, demand, and/or inventory discrepancies.Applies a systems-thinking approach in managing and executing day-to-day individual work and tasksBusiness-level/Fluent both written and spoken in English ProficiencyPreferred Qualifications:
3 years or more related work experiences, Understanding or experiencing with/in Boeing and/or aviation industryUnderstands Boeing Partner Managed Inventory (PMI) processesExperience using Boeing ERPLN System Familiar with the Interconnected Network (IN) SolutionProposes, communicates, and implements best-practice, knowledge sharing, and process improvement opportunities with team-members and leadershipAbility to lead and influence the teamLocation:
The selected candidate will be required to work on-site (with some flex) at Boeing Japan’s Nagoya office( or Supplier site office).
