Location: Perth CBD
Contract Length: 12 months (with potential to extend)*
Start Date: ASAP

Airswift is proud to be partnering with Woodside, a leading energy company, to source a Procurement Adviser for their Perth-based operations. This role is part of a large, collaborative Procure to Pay team, where enjoying teamwork and bringing a positive, adaptable attitude is essential.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting Operational Maintenance, Contracts, Warehouse & Logistics, and other business units. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely procurement of goods and services, with a strong emphasis on data integrity, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate will be a procurement professional with Oil & Gas industry experience, who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about continuous improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage RFQ processes including market engagement, vendor identification, negotiation, and commercial evaluation.

Procure materials, services, and equipment to specification, ethically and cost-effectively.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Manage supplier relationships with a focus on issue resolution and performance improvement.

Ensure data accuracy across GLs, account assignments, material data, tax codes, and outline agreements.

Monitor delivery timelines and resolve discrepancies in scope or pricing.

Administer and close out purchase orders, including changes, disputes, and extensions.

Escalate and resolve PO issues to support timely receipt and payment.

Ensure compliance with internal procedures, risk protocols, and SOX controls.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Procurement role.

Strong proficiency in SAP and Ariba platforms.

Experience in Oil & Gas.

Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy in data validation.

Familiarity with SOX compliance is beneficial.

Ability to work effectively in a large team and adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
