Procure to Pay Analyst – Banking and Banking Systems Focus

Role Overview The Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Analyst plays a key role in supporting the end-to-end P2P process, with a particular focus on optimizing payment operations and banking systems within AniCura’s Shared Service Centre (SSC) framework. This role is essential in ensuring accurate, secure, and efficient banking transactions and reconciliations across multiple European markets, while contributing to process standardization, automation, and compliance with group policies. Operating within the Group Finance organization, the P2P Analyst collaborates closely with internal stakeholders including Procurement, Treasury, Accounting, and IT, as well as with AniCura’s external service provider (DXC) based in Poland. The role requires strong coordination capabilities to support harmonized processes across countries and drive continuous improvements in banking operations. The analyst will actively contribute to both local and group-level initiatives, assist in resolving operational issues, and help maintain a robust and scalable banking infrastructure that underpins a high-performing P2P function. Key Responsibilities + Act as the key contact for banking operations across SSC markets, ensuring accurate, timely, and secure payment processing. + Manage daily banking interfaces, troubleshoot banking integration issues, and collaborate with IT and banking partners to resolve discrepancies. + Support Finance in ensuring all bank transactions are reconciled and posted to appropriate GL accounts + Support ERP and banking system configurations relevant to payment processing (e.g., payment formats, IBAN validations, file uploads/downloads). + Liaise with Group Treasury and local finance teams to ensure compliance with cash management policies, internal controls, and audit requirements. + Support the rollout and adoption of centralized banking solutions or payment platforms across AniCura entities (TIS). + Provide training and guidance to finance and SSC staff on banking system usage and payment processes. + Assist with P2P reporting, key performance indicators (KPIs), and continuous improvement initiatives. Summary of the Role + Job Title: Procure to Pay Analyst - Banking and Banking Systems Focus + Department: Finance + Reports To: Head of P2P Europe + Location: Netherlands preferred, with flexibility for other AniCura locations across Europe. + Contract: Full-time + Languages : Fluency in English (additional European languages are a plus) Qualifications & Experience + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. + Professional certifications in banking, ERP systems, or process improvement are an advantage. + Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procure-to-pay, finance operations, or banking systems. + Solid understanding of banking processes, payment formats (e.g., SEPA, XML, MT940), and electronic bank interfaces (e.g., via ERP). + Experience with Oracle ERP systems is a plus. + Strong accounting skills and the ability to independently identify and implement solutions. + Experience in a Shared Service or multinational environment is preferred. Technical Skills: + Knowledge of banking systems, including electronic banking, file formats, and system integration. + Understanding of ERP payment modules. + Experience with process documentation and internal controls. + Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other financial reporting tools (preferred).
