ABOUT THE ROLE:
Material Handler ensures the safe and timely delivery of products and materials, employing the highest industry safety standards. Coordinates with team members to maximize efficiency, paying careful attention to detail, ensuring the proper completion of every task.
HOURLY RATE: $17.00/Hour
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Work under direct supervision and follow Standard Operating Procedures and instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.Follow all company safety policies and proceduresTransport and load materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).Assist with the timely fulfillment and delivery of productsWork cooperatively with Supervisors, Leads and other Team members in order to complete tasks and support process improvementsAbility to be flexible with performing job assignments, as they pertain to shift goals and objectivesMust meet and maintain productivity and accuracy standardsCollects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasksKeep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilizationPerforms other related duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS:
