What You Will Do:

You will work with the team in a fast paced environment to ensure that all tooling requirements, customer requirements, safety and environmental requirements are metClean, maintain, and rebuild coating fixtures and equipment, select tools, machines, and techniques to complete maintenance assignments on coating fixtures and equipment, and perform various types of tooling inspections to ensure fixtures and equipment are functioning properly and conform to engineering and in-process specificationsRead and understand blueprints, written, and/or verbal communication, make in-process repairs and document work as required, follow standard shop operating procedures and best practices and maintain shop cleanliness standards (6S) and perform daily walk-arounds (PMs), take initiative to improve area processes, assist in consumable and material inventory as well as ordering to ensure necessary materials and tooling are available as needed, follow safe work practices and complete necessary formal and on-the-job trainingWear prescribed safety equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, full-length safety sleeves, cut-resistant gloves, safety shoes and comply with all environmental, health and safety rules, policies, and procedures, as well as ethics requirementsParticipate in shop-specific safety training programs and ensure your compliance with OSHA job safety requirements, actively participate in Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) as our fundamental operating philosophy and cultureMay occasionally work extended hours or variable shifts as required and conduct physical activities such as bending, reaching, pulling and pushing

Qualifications You Must Have:

High school diploma or GED w/ 3 years technical on the job experienceU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contractBasic mechanical and design aptitudeProficient in Microsoft Office

What is my role type? In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is Onsite. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
