Process Technician
Job Title: Process TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to setup and operate 300-ton Arburg injection mold machines with robotics and automation. The role involves adjusting and monitoring pressure, feed rates, and temperatures, as well as performing quality inspections for defects such as flash, shorts, and deformations. The technician will play a critical role in meeting on-time completion, quality, and cost targets associated with the implementation of new injection mold machine setups and operations. This position requires creating procedures, work instructions, and protocols while improving productivity and reducing scrap/reject rates through automation, tool/process improvements, effective training, and process enhancements.

ResponsibilitiesSetup and operate 300-ton Arburg injection mold machines with robotics and automation.Adjust and monitor pressure, feed rates, and temperatures.Perform quality inspections for flash, shorts, and deformations.Ensure on-time completion, quality, and cost targets for new injection mold machine setups.Create procedures, work instructions, and protocols as required.Improve productivity and reduce scrap/reject rates through automation and process improvements.Effectively train production personnel and enhance processes.Essential Skills5+ years of manufacturing experience operating or setting up plastic injection mold machines.5+ years changing molds and setting up proper feed, pressure, and temperature.5+ years troubleshooting various process issues including shorts, flashes, and discoloration.Knowledge of plastic materials and various polymers.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's degree or certificates in robotics, automation, or injection molding processing preferred.Experience working with Arburg brand machinery.Forklift and crane certification preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a very clean, temperature-controlled facility with openings on both first and second shifts. Initially, work on the first shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm for 2-3 months until comfortable, then transition to the second shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
