Process Technician
Job Description Job Summary: Represent manufacturing during the development of new products and trouble shooting of current products.   Duties and Responsibilities: - Following scientific molding process as per the guide lines for new and current projects - Collaborating with Tooling and Quality Assurance on the “Quality Planning" phase of new products and continuous improvements of current products - Communicate and assist with implementation and development of operator and operation instructions for molding process of projects; collaborate with Production manager, supervisors and quality assurance - In concert with Tooling and Quality Assurance sample new and existing molds using the principles of lean manufacturing( automation, cavity separation, cycle time reduction etc),and scientific molding in order to define (and document) a robust, capable, repeatable and controlled process. - Fill out all required documents as per Silcotech 4.0 procedures - Set up, startup and change molds of new and existing projects as per the expected time - Assist quality assurance to develop instructions on the molding process and to train the respective supervisors, operators and shop floor personnel on the molding process( as required) Manage all activities using effective and efficient resources - Endorse and promote company’s vision and mission. - Maintain good labor relations climate with all employees. - Adherence to all GMP, clean room, and ISO procedures - This is a brief summary of the daily duties and responsibilities. Skills and Requirements Desired Skills and Experience   - Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a Process technician for injection molding – must either come from custom-injection molding or experience with several types of materials and products - Preference to Certified candidates but will consider equivalent based on experience - Must have some experience with automation - Must have good communication skills and a team player working with people at all levels - In-depth knowledge of manufacturing equipment and related processes - Vast knowledge of tooling concepts, and tool component manufacturing techniques - Complete understanding of plant infrastructure - Adept with machine shop related equipment - In-depth comprehension of robotic systems and automation - Knowledge of GMP, Clean room, and ISO procedures Special requirements - Continuing education related to job function - Sensitivity and feel for molding process and related technologies - Punctual and reliable - Experience with Scientific Molding
