Process Technician

Job Title: Process Technician
Location: Seabrook, NH
Work schedule: Mon- Fri 8am- 5pm
Type: Contract
 
Overview
Leading consumer good company looking for an experienced Process Technician. Ideal candidates should have a bachelors degree 3+ years experience or an Associates degree with 5+ years of experience in the Rubber, Plastics Compounding or Coatings industry. 
 
Requirements Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in a Chemistry related or Material Science field from a four-year college or university with 3 years or more related experience in the Rubber, Plastics Compounding or Coatings Industry; or Associate’s Degree (A.A.) in Chemistry related or Material Science field with five or more years related experience and / or extensive training in the Rubber, Plastics Compounding or Coatings Industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities Complete raw material evaluations for replacements and quality improvements. * Complete laboratory batches and coordinate and participate in testing as needed for approval at automotive OEM customers. * Specific material improvement projects as assigned. Design and complete controlled experiments as needed. Participate in pilot and plant scale runs of products under development.* Assist other departments as needed. Other duties as assigned.
