Collins aerospace is looking to hire Process Technician - Painter/ Masker; who will be reporting to the Weekday Night Shift Assembly Supervisor, as the Process Technician – Painter/Masker, you will be involved in the preparation and the spray application of primer along with topcoat, and sealant on aircraft components machined on site.
Work Location: Oakville Facility, Ontario – Canada
Shift Hours – Weekday Afternoons – Monday - Thursday (4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.)
What You Will Do
Part loading, fixturing and unloading.Painting, cleaning, masking, attaching fixtures and demasking.Booth and equipment maintenancePerform work from set-up sheets, manufacturing sheets and drawings.Document actions in support of quality logs, communicate all discrepancies to supervision and create Product Defect Sheets (PDS) as required.Support and promote continuous improvement, 5S activities and Standard Work Development in the cell.Participation in cross-functional training in related processes as required.Multi-task in the cell and perform other duties as assigned including TPM and machine checklistQualifications We Require
Typically requires High School Diploma and a minimum 2-year current, related painting experience.Experience in material handling and/or crane/hoist operations.The selected candidate must be eligible to work in Canada; successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGPQualifications We Prefer
