Responsibility:
• Implement PSM system and practices across the site to control process safety risks and compliance in a systematically way.
• Act as the responsible person to ensure the systems and resources and expertise are present to conduct process risk assessment for new project, modification, PHR
• Ensure full and up to date records for process risk assessments and that these are in the form required for internal and external purposes
• Maintain key internal and external contacts so that process safety information is collected, up to date.
• Contribute to the site Corrective Action Preventive Action improvement plan to ensure that relevant PHA and PSM findings are given the appropriate priority. Routinely review progress of the plan.
• To advise, influence and support the site leadership team in compliance with statutory regulations and company standards of process risk management.
• Work with process safety advisor to identify, train and mentor site process safety champions. Provide the PS related training to the team.
• Develop and optimize the site process safety related procedures and regular review/audit the implementation.
• Conduct the process safety incident investigation and share the internal and external PS lessons with site team to promote the process safety awareness.
• Maintain and develop systems to monitor process safety indicators and drive performance improvements based on leading and lagging indicators.
• Monitor and Improve site MOC practice, Review site MOCs .
Job requirements:
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in a technical area, e.g. safety engineering, chemical engineering, or mechanical engineering
• More than 5 years’ experience in chemical manufacturing or process safety, preferably with foreign company working experience.
• Experience of works in hazardous chemical processes and, in particular, process risk assessment(What/if, HAZOP, LOPA) either from a leader point of view or regular study contributor
• Able to interpret technical /hazard/operational data and apply the appropriate risk assessment methods and expertise
• Preferably experience of supporting site Mechanical Integrity activities
• Good networking/communication skill, good oral and written English skill.
