Process Piping Lead responsible for directing piping design teams and coordinating multidisciplinary industrial facility projects.

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience leading a piping design team.

Approximately 15+ years of experience in layout of process and mechanical equipment and associated piping design.

Demonstrated experience developing resource loaders, managing teams to delivery schedules, and resolving piping design challenges.

Recent hands-on experience with Cadworx 3D and/or Revit design software.

Experience using Navisworks for model review and coordination.

Knowledge of pipe installation details and pipe supports.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Preferred Skills

Experience with process mechanical piping systems, industrial waste, and high purity water systems.

Microelectronics or high-tech industrial manufacturing facility project experience.

Job Responsibilities

Provide direction and coordinate work of sub-leads and piping designers to ensure high-quality project execution.

Manage delivery schedules, monitor progress, and escalate to project managers when schedule risk is identified.

Support the piping design team and facilitate resolution of design and coordination challenges.

Develop and maintain resource loaders to predict budget burn rate and estimate work remaining.

Coordinate piping design with other disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, etc.) to ensure overall project success.

Participate in field support activities at client sites, including site walks and verification of existing conditions.

Collaborate with engineering design teams on high-tech industrial manufacturing facility projects in a hybrid or remote capacity as applicable.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $75.00 per hour
