Overview:
This role supports the oversight and optimization of pharmacy network operations while also contributing to enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in business process management, pharmacy network oversight, and continuous improvement methodologies to support cross-functional initiatives within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Pharmacy Network Oversight:
+ Monitor key performance metrics, including claims volume, turnaround times, network adequacy, and member satisfaction.
+ Support end-to-end pharmacy network operations including credentialing, re-contracting, and terminations.
+ Ensure network compliance with contractual, regulatory, and service-level standards.
+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address network issues and drive performance improvements.
Business Process Management (BPM):
+ Develop best practices and frameworks for process innovation and continuous improvement.
+ Align enterprise process architecture with business capabilities and governance structures.
+ Design and implement process transformation, automation, and reengineering initiatives.
+ Develop governance tools, templates, and metrics to measure process efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Mentor and lead process improvement teams (change agents and champions) in a matrixed environment.
+ Support organizational training to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
Purpose of the Role:
This position is part of the BPM Center of Excellence, focused on developing and executing sustainable, quantifiable, and scalable business process strategies. You will help build organizational capability and maturity in process management and serve as a key driver of strategic transformation.
Essential Functions Breakdown:
+ 40% – Develop enterprise-wide BPM standards, methodologies, and improvement strategies
+ 25% – Create and manage process architecture aligned with business goals
+ 20% – Build tools, templates, and governance structures for cross-functional BPM programs
+ 15% – Lead and mentor BPM resources; support training and skill development
Required Qualifications:
+ Education:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field
+ In lieu of a degree: 4 additional years of directly relevant experience
+ Experience:
+ 10+ years of experience in business process management, consulting, or operational transformation
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
+ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) or similar BPM certification – Preferred
+ PMI Business Analysis Certification – Preferred
+ Expert-level knowledge of BPM tools and documentation platforms
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
+ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
+ Proven ability to analyze, organize, and present complex data
+ Experience working in dynamic, deadline-driven environments with shifting priorities
+ Ability to provide high-level customer service, even in challenging scenarios
