Make a difference as a Process Leader

As a Process Leader at our Kalasin Plant, you will provide technical leadership and process expertise across multiple Ingredion facilities in APAC. You’ll contribute to EHSSQ compliance, optimize process performance, support capital projects, and deliver innovative engineering solutions. You’ll also play a critical role in mentoring future process engineers and sharing best practices across global networks.

What you will do :

Create Competitive Edge

Identify and close EHSSQ compliance gaps across sites

Lead or participate in safety programs (HAZOP, MOC, Risk Assessments)

Optimize process designs, develop PFDs, P&IDs, material/energy balances

Provide SME-level troubleshooting and support for interconnected unit operations

Oversee project commissioning to ensure engineering deliverables are met

Drive manufacturing KPIs and implement best practices across sites

Build Customer-Focused Mindset

Author and standardize engineering guidelines across sites

Collaborate with global stakeholders to solve reliability challenges

Ensure best-in-class solutions through alignment with business and technical teams

Support global collaboration and cross-site knowledge transfer

Build Great Talent

Lead cross-functional teams on complex process challenges

Mentor and develop early-career engineers

Promote a high-performance work culture aligned with Ingredion values

Inspire Bold Innovation

Drive financial benefit validation for process improvements with Finance & Accounting

Lead critical deviation treatments and implement sustainable corrective actions

Propose and test new technologies and methods to close operational gaps

What you will bring :

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field

Minimum 5 years of hands-on engineering experience in food, pharmaceutical, or fine chemical industries

Strong background in starch modification, wet milling, or fine chemical processes

Working knowledge of EHSS principles and programs (e.g., Work Permits, LOTOTO, MOC)

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project

Familiarity with GB (China) engineering standards is a plus
