Process Lead

This role is for an experienced Process Lead who is comfortable owning performance on complex, high-volume production lines. You will be accountable for eliminating losses, stabilising processes, and building strong daily management routines that deliver sustainable safety, quality, and business results.

The role is hands-on and shop-floor based. You will act as the technical authority for Centerline, Rapid Changeover, Daily Management Systems (DMS), Line Event Data Systems (LEDS), and Reliability Engineering tools, while developing the technical capability of Line Leaders and teams. Strong English is essential, as the role works closely with regional and global stakeholders.

 

What you will be accountable for

 

Safety, Compliance and Stability

Own safety execution on assigned production lines, ensuring full compliance with local legislation, PMI standards, and IMS requirements.Act as Incident Elimination DMS owner, challenging root causes and ensuring corrective actions are effective and sustained.Lead weekly DMS health checks and close systemic gaps impacting performance or safety.

 

Quality Ownership

Act as the quality authority for your lines, ensuring compliance with PMI and legal quality standards.Drive quality at the source through strong process control and operator discipline.Lead analysis and elimination of chronic quality losses using structured problem-solving methods.

 

Line Performance and Loss Elimination

Set and drive the 24-hour production direction through active participation in Daily Direction Setting.Own Centerline targets, limits, and standards, ensuring they are current, realistic, and enforced.Lead investigation of chronic losses using IPS, UPS, and 6W2H methodologies.Ensure full data integrity within LEDS and use data to drive decisions, not opinions.

  

Reliability and Changeover Excellence

Own Reliability Engineering tools, including S-Shape, Weibull analysis, and the PR Loss Tree.Translate reliability data into clear 90-day action plans with Line Structure teams.Set and enforce Rapid Changeover standards across SKUs.Lead and challenge Rapid Changeover events to deliver measurable, sustained improvements.

  

Capability and Leadership

Build deep technical capability within Line Leaders and teams through on-the-job coaching.Develop mastery in troubleshooting, process optimisation, and disciplined execution.Lead change management initiatives and reapplication of best practices across lines and departments.Act as an active contributor to the FI Pillar, supporting delivery of the Pillar Master Plan.

 

What sets you apart

Engineering degree (College or University) in a relevant discipline.5+ years’ experience in high-volume manufacturing (FMCG preferred).A minimum of 2 years experience a Process Lead pr a similar position within a manufacturing environment is essential Proven track record of stabilising processes and eliminating chronic losses.Strong shop-floor presence with the credibility to challenge and influence.Experience working in structured operating systems (IOS, TPM, Lean, or similar).English: Fluent professional proficiency (written and spoken) – essential.

 

Technical Strength

Deep understanding of process control, Centerline management, and reliability concepts.Confident using data, statistics, and structured tools to drive decisions.Comfortable owning complex production systems end-to-end.
