Key Responsibilities: + Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), heat and material balances (H&MB). + Perform process simulations, calculations, and equipment sizing (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, reactors, separators, etc.). + Ensure designs comply with industry standards, client specifications, safety regulations, and project requirements. + Provide technical support in feasibility studies, conceptual design, FEED, and detailed engineering phases. + Prepare process datasheets for equipment and instruments. + Review vendor documents and coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams. + Support HAZOP, SIL, and other safety reviews. + Participate in commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting activities. + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovative design solutions. Qualifications & Skills: + + Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. + 2-3 years of relevant experience in process design, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, or related industries. + Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, PRO-II, UniSim). + Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, NFPA, etc.). + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills. + Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
