Location\: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO

Shift\: Day shift 

Travel Required\: Up to 10% of the time

 

Description of Duties\:

The Process Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will\:

 

·       Develop and refine systems engineering and configuration management processes, procedures, and methodologies

·       Create process documentation, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training material

·       Analyze current state processes and identify improvement opportunities

·       Design future state process maps and implementation roadmaps

·       Facilitate process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies

·       Collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities

·       Create metrics and reporting frameworks

·       Conduct process audits and compliance assessments

 

The successful candidate will\:

·       Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Be detail-oriented with strong documentation skills

·       Have effective communication and presentation skills

Basic Requirements\:

·       Must have 3, or more, years of experience in process engineering, or related field

·       Must have experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)

·       Must have experience with process modeling tools

·       Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

 

Desired Requirements\:

·       Have a Bachelor’s degree any STEM related field

·       Have a Process Improvement certification (Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt)

 

This position is expected to pay $100,000 - $135,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

 

This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days. If a candidate has not been selected at that time, it will continue to be posted until a suitable candidate is selected or the position is closed.
