Process Engineer

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team and actively support production performance on the shop floor. This role is suited to someone who enjoys being close to the process, working directly with machinery, data, and operators, and taking ownership of process stability, quality, and continuous improvement.

 

Fluent written and spoken English is a strict requirement for this role. You will be required to communicate daily with global teams, document processes, participate in audits, and lead technical discussions in English.

 

 

What you will be responsible for

 

Hands-on Process Ownership

 

Ensure manufacturing processes and machinery standards are sustainable, clearly defined, and practically applied on the shop floor.Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned technologies and processes, providing direct technical support to production teams.Be a key point of contact with Global Centres of Excellence and support the deployment of global standards locally.Work closely with technicians, engineers, and operators to close skills gaps and build strong technical capability.

 

 

Safety, Health and Sustainability

Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, safety, and sustainability standards.Actively promote a strong safety culture through visible presence, coaching, and preventive problem-solving.Support predictive and preventive maintenance and risk-based process control approaches.

 

Quality and Process Control

Provide hands-on support for product quality, process performance, and production systems.Own and maintain deep technical knowledge of products, processes, and equipment within your area.Create, review, and train teams on key process documentation, including process flows, risk assessments, and control points.Investigate process deviations and non-conformities, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions.Ensure processes and procedures comply with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.Support and participate in internal and external audits, including follow-up on actions.

  

Delivery and Continuous improvement

 

Lead or actively participate in complex process and system improvement projects, from feasibility through to implementation and post-implementation monitoring.Develop practical documentation to support knowledge transfer and consistent execution.Contribute to cross-functional and global productivity initiatives, acting as a hands-on technical contributor.

 

Cost and Productivity

 

Analyse process losses and productivity KPIs and develop practical action plans to close performance gaps.Participate in productivity and loss-elimination initiatives as an SME or project lead.Identify and reapply proven solutions and best practices from other sites or regions.

 

People and Capability Building

Communicate clearly and regularly with production, engineering, and support teams to ensure alignment.Coach, mentor, and support operators and junior engineers through on-the-job guidance.Identify training needs and deliver practical technical training to ensure effective knowledge transfer.

 

 

What we are looking for

 

Engineering degree (College or University) in a relevant discipline.Proven, previous experience in a Process Engineering role within a manufacturing environment is required.Minimum 2+ years’ hands-on process engineering experience in production, quality, or engineering.Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory. You must be able to clearly explain technical concepts, write procedures and reports, and engage confidently with local and global stakeholders in English.Strong working knowledge of MS Office.Experience with IWS / DMS tools is an advantage.Comfortable working on the shop floor, analysing data, solving problems, and driving practical improvements.This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the process, taking ownership, and making a visible impact on day-to-day manufacturing performance.
