Process Engineer

Summary: Seeking an experienced Process Engineer for a new project, focusing on engineering calculations, design standards compliance, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required; Chemical Engineering preferred

Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred

Experience with HYSYS, ProMax, or equivalent software

Proficiency in conceptual through detailed design and P&ID development

Familiarity with pumps and compressors beneficial

Knowledge of codes such as API and Process design standards

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience in project upstream, downstream, and midstream sectors

Previous roles at companies like Worley, Black & Veatch, Jacobs valued

Demonstrable oil/gas/petrochemical industry experience

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare engineering sketches and perform complex engineering calculations

Develop analysis models for project assignments

Review/approve vendor drawings for specification compliance

Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants

Manage projects to ensure completion within schedule and budget

Adhere to company quality standards alongside checking and approval procedures

Comply with all company/client health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) standards as well as federal/local HSSE regulations

Participate actively in hazard identification processes

Additional Notes:

ITAR Work Regulations compliance required

US Citizenship or Green Card holder mandatory; no sponsorship for OPT/EAD/F1, H1B or TN Visa candidates

No expected overtime amount; standard workweek Monday - Friday on first shift

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $65.00 to $70.00 per hour
